BIOMEDICAL ILLUSTRATIONS
![]() | IntroductionI have a degree in biology, and drawing and design skills. My work is featured in textbooks and science exhibits. IllustrationsScientific illustrations are heavy in information, So it takes a person trained in the field. My technique is to present complex information as simple as it needs to be for the target audience. For each illustration, I find a balance between realism and easyness-to-read and follow. My BackgroundMy formal courses in this area include two upper year Biomedical Communications at the University of Toronto. Since then, I made a poster for an exhibit for the Ontario Science Centre (left), made illustrations a handbook for the treatment of bipolar disorder, and was contracted by the University of Toronto to work on illustrations for a textbook for medical students. |
